Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Program (LSMAMP)

LSMAMP supports sustained efforts to increase the number of underrepresented students earning undergraduate degrees in STEM fields. The program goals are accomplished through the formation of alliances.

The LSMAMP Mission

LSMAMP is dedicated to creating new opportunities for undergraduate students and change the future of STEM in America.

The mission of LSMAMP is to:

  • Increase the number of underrepresented undergraduate students acquiring bachelors in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
  • Increase the number of advanced degrees obtained by underrepresented undergraduate students in the STEM fields.

Programs

LSMAMP offers two programs, IMAGE and Bridge STEM Program (BSP).
  • IMAGE Program

    The IMAGE Program at the University of Mississippi strives to prepare its members in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) so that they will be able to successfully enter graduate school after their undergraduate studies.
