The Bridge STEM and IMAGE Programs

The Bridge STEM and IMAGE Programs take a long-term, comprehensive approach to increasing the number of students who earn doctorates in STEM fields—especially those from populations that are underrepresented in STEM. These goals are achieved by building strong alliances and support networks.

The Ronald E. McNair Program

McNair is one of eight TRIO programs funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Its purpose is to prepare eligible participants for doctoral studies through involvement in research and other scholarly activities. Participants are from disadvantaged backgrounds and have demonstrated strong academic potential.
