Getting Ready for Your First Semester
We are pleased that you have selected the University of Mississippi Graduate School for your graduate studies and look forward to having you on our campus this fall.
As a new graduate student, you are encouraged to attend our orientation program on Thursday, August 21st. Details coming soon.
- Orientation will include a variety of speakers, who will provide information about campus resources and other topics of interest.
- The main event will be held in the Jackson Avenue Center (JAC) complete with sessions that you can choose to attend. The on-site check-in will be at the Jackson Avenue Center.
- Following the Graduate School programming, lunch will be available at the Rebel Market in the Johnson Commons (JC). Free entry until 3pm.
Parking information coming soon. Please park in a legal parking place.
Registration will be from 8:00-8:30 am with the sessions beginning promptly at 8:30 a.m. We encourage you to arrive early to avoid the last-minute rush of attendees.
Registration must be completed by Friday, AUGUST 8, 2025.
