A FREE one-week summer exploration program for rising seniors attending Historically-Black Colleges and Universities
Workshops and Seminars will address a variety of topics, including:
- Purpose and value of graduate education
- Application process, admission, matriculation
- Costs and sources of financial support
- Challenges, obstacles and stigmas
- Undergraduate vs. graduate education
- Degrees and specializations

- Is there a stipend involved?
- All food, lodging, and planned excursions will be covered by the program. There will not be a stipend associated with this program.
- Do I need transportation?
- No. Transportation will be provided to all off campus events.
- Where will we be staying?
- Individual dormitory accommodations have been reserved for your stay.
- What should I bring with me for the week?
- Accommodations include: bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, and community kitchen and lounge.
- What kind of excursions and recreational activities will be included?
- We are planning group educational and entertaining activities such as bowling, history tours, etc.
- What’s the attire for the week?
- Morning workshops and sessions are business casual. Afternoon excursions are casual.
