Note: This list is meant to be used as a guideline, and there may be additional deadlines for other Graduate School related events.

Spring 2024

Deadline for Spring Graduate Assistantship Appointments – November 30, 2023
Last day to receive pro-rated Tuition scholarships with Assistantship – February 15, 2024
- Assistantship appointments carry the expectation that the appointment will begin on the first day of the term
- When a late appointment occurs, the semester minimum stipends rates still apply and the tuition will be prorated
- After the stated date, individuals cannot be appointed to a graduate assistantship for this term
Last day for Graduate Assistants to waive participation in the Health Insurance Program – February 19, 2024
Last day to submit applications for May graduation (May & August grads who wish to walk) – March 8, 2024
Nominations for Teaching/Mentoring Award – March 1, 2024
Nominations for the Donald R. Cole Excellence in Promoting Inclusiveness in Graduate Education Award – March 1, 2024
Deadline for SREB Nominations – March 30, 2024
Nominations for Fall Dissertation Fellowships due – April 1, 2024
Nominations for Summer Research Assistantships due – April 1, 2024
Deadline for enrollment in Summer Thesis and Dissertation Hour Scholarship Program – April 30, 2024
Deadline for submission of a thesis or dissertation for May graduation – May 3, 2024
Hooding Ceremony – May 8, 2024
Commencement – May 11, 2024
