Graduate Programs with Program-Specific Minimum Stipends
Several graduate programs at The University of Mississippi have established minimum stipends that are higher than the university-wide minimum for any of their students funded with a graduate assistantship, regardless of the source of the funding (note, prospective graduate students should contact the programs to determine the process for selecting students to receive a graduate assistantship because the program may not provide all students in the program with a graduate assistantship). The minimum stipends are program-specific, applying only to graduate assistants who are students in the particular program.
Those programs and the minimum stipends appear below. The minimum stipends listed reflect a minimum stipend for a graduate assistant hired for the regular academic year (which begins the Thursday before classes begin and runs through the last day of the spring term). Graduate assistants enrolled in 9-13 credit hours in one of the listed programs receive a 100% regular graduate tuition (including non-resident fee, when applicable).
